What they said about us…
I first started to use DB Signs when I established Tom Cobleigh - a fast growing pub group in 1992. As the name suggests we needed something to stand out from the rest- a unique style and distinctive badging. DB Signs gave me this and the evidence is that many of the signs, weather veins and sign posts still exist today. The chain grew to 78 pubs and hotels and up to 20 new pubs each year. DB signs replaced all the previous and created new signs for the whole estate.
We sold Tom Cobleigh in 1996 and in 1998 I established Leapfrog Day Nurseries which was an estate of 42 children’s nurseries that we built over 6 years. DB Signs again provided exceptional quality signing- to suit the higher standard brand level of the operation. On every occasion DB Signs performed well.
Most recently I have opened a pub in my village in Derbyshire, called The Peacock at Barlow. It is a bit more than just a pub, with a large public area serving food, including a large sun terrace and 8 beautiful bedrooms. The latest addition to the property is the microbrewery that we are due to open in July 2017. We have invested in extensive signing and had in this process have to take account of environmental issues such as bats and close neighbours. The signing is of an exceptional quality and was undertaken on time at a good price by DB Signs.
I am very comfortable in recognising the skills and artistic presentation that DB Signs have based on their excellent service to me in over nearly 30 years of a trading relationship.
