David Beard

In 1970, David Beard founded DB Signs with a clear vision: to combine traditional craftsmanship with personal service. What began as a small local workshop soon grew into a trusted signage provider for some of the UK’s best-known brands.

David’s hands-on approach and commitment to quality shaped the company’s reputation. By offering a fully in-house service — from design and fabrication to nationwide installation and maintenance — he ensured every project met the highest standards, delivered on time and on budget.

Embracing new technology while staying true to his core values, David built a business known for excellence, reliability, and care. More than 50 years later, DB Signs continues to reflect his legacy: a family-run company passionate about delivering signage solutions that stand the test of time.
